A Full Service, Public Health Center
Educare Arizona’s onsite health clinic, the Balsz Educare Arizona Center for Health (BEACH), partners with Neighborhood Access to Health (NOAH) to provide quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services to Educare Arizona children and families, as well as the surrounding Balsz community.
Meeting the needs of over 1,500 individual patients, BEACH provided over 17,000 medical, dental, and mental health visits during its first full year of operation in 2012.
Today, BEACH is a full service, public health center open to anyone who does or does not have insurance. BEACH accepts private insurance and AHCCCS plans. The health center also offers a sliding-fee discount program for uninsured individuals.
My insurance cancelled my one-year-old son’s insurance. Educare Arizona put me in touch with a nonprofit group that helped me fill out a new insurance application, make the calls, and ensure the paperwork got in, which I’ve learned is almost impossible to do by going directly to DES yourself. Educare Arizona’s referral saved me hours of time. It’s a frightening thing to have a one-year-old with no insurance. — Educare Arizona Parent
