Educare is much more than a successful education model. It is a memorable PLACE that sends a clear message that we must invest in early childhood education because children are born learning.
Educare Arizona is a LEED certified building designed and constructed with children’s learning in mind. Ample physical space and light allow babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to explore, learn and develop. Classrooms, playgrounds, courtyard, and multi-purpose rooms are safe, comfortable places that promote bonds between the teaching staff and young children. Spaces encourage interactive learning so that teachers and children are seen together reading, acting out stories, creating artwork, counting, or conducting simple experiments.
Inside Educare Arizona, space is devoted to family-related activities, including a parent resource library to facilitate parents’ efforts in career, education, and parenting practices. Community rooms provide space fro family related activities, including counseling and support groups as well as parent trainings.
Educare Arizona was also designed to take into account Arizona’s unique climate. The building is sustainably designed to maximize solar efficiencies, blend with the natural landscape, and reduce environmental impact.
The Educare Arizona school sends a message to families, policy makers, business leaders, and others that children from impoverished families have value and that creating effective programming and resources is a worthy investment.
